Remote access to your green e-mail account is possible using an e-mail client which supports IMAP mailboxes.

Customer mailboxes are hosted either on Gaia or Sterling. Unsure which server to connect with? Contact support.

If you are receiving a security error when you connect, install and trust the burlyhouse.net CA certificate.

Configure client software using the following details:

  • incoming mail
    • mailbox type- IMAP
    • server- imap-v.burlyhouse.net
    • port- 993
    • security- use encryption (ssl, tls)
    • user name- your username login
    • password- your e-mail password
  • outgoing mail
    • type- SMTP
    • server- smtp-v.burlyhouse.net
    • port- 25
    • security- use encryption (ssl, tls)
    • user name- your username login
    • password- your e-mail password

Configure client software using the following details:

    • server- mail.burlyhouse.net
    • port- 993
    • security- use encryption (ssl, tls)
    • user name- your e-mail address
    • password- your e-mail password
  • outgoing mail

    • security- use encryption (ssl, tls)
    • user name- your e-mail address
    • password- your e-mail password

Note: Insecure IMAP connections are not accepted by the Sterling mail server.
